Removing credit card details from Ebay?

How do I delete my stored credit card details from ebay? I would prefer
to pay any future fees using PayPal but can't see how to delete my
previously stored CC details.

If I click on "Add/change my credit card on file" it only allows me to
add a new CC or modify my existing details. I can't see how to
permanently delete a card that's already stored on the system!

Can you not modify it to 0000 0000 0000 0000 or does it have to be a valid
number?

Last time I checked (a few months ago), there was *NO* way to remove your
credit card yourself, you have to contact ebay to get them to do it. Seems
a bit odd.

Don't think putting false numbers in would work as I'm sure automated
checks are done on all CC submissions to verify card details match name
& address.
My card expires in a couple of months time so I think I'll just leave it
and hopefully it'll then get deleted from the system!

Try 4111 1111 1111 1111 which has the correct checksum.

This is Visa of course!
